Training Camps

March 10-17th March 2022, Mojacar

Looking for some spring sun and great cycling roads that are quiet with very few cars and other cyclist then Mojacar is the place to go. This region is one of the driest parts of Spain so no rain here!!

The Hotel

The Marina Playa de Mojácar Hotel is a well recognised national and international destination for cyclists. In fact, it is the Official Headquarters of the Belgian Cycling Federation in Spain, with everything necessary for the training and care of cycling teams and cycling groups:

  • Garage for bicycles
  • Bike washing area
  • Air pumps and compressor
  • Special menus for athletes
  • Meeting rooms
  • Wellness center with gym

The Coaching/Training Camp

The hotel is set up for cyclists and the local roads are very good, quiet and good surfaces, I have tried them several times myself. Somewhere a bit different to Majorca and a little cheaper than equivalent in Majorca for this week. The package would include led rides, 3 coaching lectures and a 1h individual coaching advice session which could be either technique or training programme based with a Level 3 qualified coach.

Flights

Edinburgh to Alicante are about £140 from either Jet2 or Ryanair(although prices are beginning to rise) and I can arrange transfers from the airport to the hotel through my local contacts. Bike hire is also possible if you do not want to take your own bike.

Costs

The cost would be 300 euros/pp assuming two per room on a full board basis, you would need to factor in the flight and transfer cost (approx €60/each way). Places are LIMITED so I need to know asap. To sign up please complete the form below.
